World Hepatitis Day
Today is World Hepatitis Day – a global initiative to help raise awareness about Hepatitis and the issues facing those with the disease.
The RAH Research Fund is proud to support research that is improving the lives of patients with hepatitis and other chronic conditions.
Associate Professor Eddie Tse and his team are on this path, with the development of an exciting initiative that is helping to improve the lives of patients with chronic conditions, including Hepatitis C.
HealthElink is a secure online treatment platform enabling GPs, specialists, nurses, carers and patients themselves, to collaborate more effectively and better manage an individual’s chronic condition. A trial is now underway, focusing on patient’s with Hepatitis C and the results so far look positive.
